The mission of the Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program is to reduce hunger by providing food assistance, strategies for sustainable living and referral services to households living at or below poverty in the greater Brunswick area.

Since the Soup Kitchen opened in 1983, our programs have served residents of Brunswick, Topsham, Harpswell, Bowdoin, Bowdoinham, Durham, Lisbon and Lisbon Falls. We have also assisted the Tedford Shelter, Bath/Brunswick Child Care Services, Good Samaritan Food Pantry in Topsham, Freeport Community Services, the American Red Cross, Family Crisis Shelter and St. Philip's Food Pantry in Wiscasset.
